Like me, you may not want to have to deal with a separate executable in order to simply download a trustworthy Windows 10 ISO, whilst on a Windows PC. Below is a 4-step guide to getting an ISO downloading in your browser, just like the old days:
Downloading the ISO from MS is simple.
- Go here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10ISO
- Press F12 (This opens the developer options of your browser)
- Enable mobile device emulation (On Chrome, it’s phone/tablet icon in the top-left of the dev tools pane)
- Refresh the page.
What you’ll see now is the option to select your Windows version and language, and it’ll download the ISO.
Others have also recommended to me the use of this site however it has a habit of not being maintained for extended periods of time, and may not have the latest versions listed. This site is safe to download from, as it actually simply redirects you to a Microsoft server for the actual download.
Note: If you have Microsoft Volume Licensing (VLSC), just use that. This guide is not intended for you.
